Mon soutien psy
Mon soutien psy is a program designed by the French state to provide free psychological support to individuals in need. It allows people to have consultations with partner psychologists, funded by the state. This program aims to improve access to psychological care and reduce financial barriers.
You do not need to go through your GP to benefit from it.
Consultations are 60% reimbursed by the Social Security and the rest by your private health insurance (‘mutuelle’). However, the patient must pay first and will be reimbursed later.
The inclusion criteria include individuals from the age of 3 suffering from mild to moderate psychological issues.
I only receive adolescent and adult patients.
The program includes a total of 12 sessions per year, including the initial evaluation and the final assessment.
If you miss a session without canceling at least 48 hours in advance, the session will be invoiced but will not be reimbursed.
Please note that there is a waiting list and it might take several months before it will be your turn.
My normal rate is 75€ for an individual session. The Mon soutien psy option is only available to a limited number of people for a reduced rate of 50€ (fixed by the state with no extra fees), which is why I have the waiting list.
